Elephants are wild animals. And they also belong in the wild and not in a circus. In Thailand it is unfortunately very common to find many attractions where elephants are exploited. I hope I left my money in the right place here. Elefant Freedom Vollage has a very good reputation for taking care of elephants. I understand that this is financed by visitors. Elephants are awesome animals.

There are many old temples in Thailand. You will find “No Women” at one or the other temple. A true place of rest 😉
Just some random stuff. I have never seen a banana tree growing. Here in the forest they just hang around everywhere. And: Taking a shower under a waterfall hurts like hell 😉
